Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Truly.
If something isn’t right, let’s talk it through like reasonable humans (with cats supervising).

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery.
After 30 days, unfortunately, we can’t offer a full refund or exchange.

Returns – What’s Eligible

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused
  • In the same condition you received it
  • In its original packaging
  • With proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

Please note:
Returned items that show signs of use, wear, engraving damage, or creative “experimentation” will not be eligible for a refund.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

Because many of our products are handmade, crafted, or small-batch, some items are non-returnable by nature.

These include:

  • Custom or personalized items (engraved names, custom designs, made-to-order pieces)
  • Digital products (downloads, files, templates)
  • Gift cards
  • Perishable goods (if applicable)
  • Health or personal care items
  • Items marked as “final sale”

Once these leave our studio, they’re officially part of your cat-filled life.

Partial Refunds (If Applicable)

Partial refunds may be granted in cases such as:

  • Books or printed items showing clear signs of use
  • Items returned damaged, missing parts, or not in original condition (unless it’s our fault)
  • Returns initiated after 30 days

Each case is reviewed individually, fairly, and with common sense.

Refunds – How It Works

Once your return is received and inspected:

  1. You’ll get an email confirming we received it
  2. You’ll be notified whether your refund is approved or rejected
  3. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method

Processing times vary by bank or card provider, but refunds usually appear within a few business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Double-check your bank account
  2. Contact your credit card provider (they sometimes take their time)
  3. Contact your bank

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds.
Sale or discounted items are final and cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they arrive defective or damaged.

If that happens (rare, but we’re human):

  • Email us at {catmail @ cats-magazine.com}
  • Include photos and your order number
  • If approved, we’ll arrange a replacement of the same item

Please don’t send anything back without contacting us first.

Gifts

If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you:

  • You’ll receive a store credit for the value of the return

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, or the original buyer had it shipped to themselves:

  • The refund will be issued to the original purchaser

Cats will absolutely judge all of us equally regardless.

Return Shipping

To return a product, please contact us first at {your email address}.
We’ll confirm the return address and next steps.

  • Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable
  • If a refund is approved, return shipping may be deducted from the refund

For higher-value items, we strongly recommend:

  • A trackable shipping service
  • Optional shipping insurance

We can’t guarantee we’ll receive non-tracked returns.
