Photographer in a cat world

So, you’re wondering why a professional photographer like me is prowling around in the world of cat rescue? Well, let me paint you a picture. Back in 2012, I turned my lens toward a local dog shelter that was also a safe place for cats. Fast-forward to 2014, and I was the unofficial paparazzi for a friend’s foster based cat rescue organization.

Why, you ask? Because every cat (and dog, let’s not be species-ist) deserves their moment in the spotlight. I wanted to give these fur-babies a platform to share their rags-to-riches stories, their triumphs, and their adorable quirks. Trust me, each one has a tale as unique as their paw prints.

Foster failures

My husband and I currently share our home with three cats. The number of our feline friends a.k.a. foster failures always varies and at one point it was fourteen. (Do not worry, we are not hoarders)

I have gathered knowledge while living with them and will share my insights here with you.
