Uh, a lot of things have happened since my last blog post. We moved from city to city, still staying in Belgium (Europe), but we traveled 1400 km in one day with our three cats to our second home. It was a long trip, but we are staying now in our own house, so it is nice!

And yes, we did it with our three fabulous felines in tow. Imagine the chaos! But now, we’re settled into our own cozy house, and it feels fantastic.
Hot Weather and Restless Cats
The weather here has been scorching, and my cat Tito is losing his mind. Our new neighborhood is crawling with free-roaming cats, both males and females, none of them neutered or spayed. They keep prowling around our house, driving Tito absolutely bonkers! Cats are incredibly territorial, and Tito’s definitely feeling the heat.
The Struggles of Keeping Tito Calm
To keep my wild boy Tito from going completely nuts, I have to walk him on a leash. I can’t just let him roam free because we live near a busy road, and I have way too many heartbreaking memories of cats getting hit by cars. In the past decade, I’ve had to bury five neighborhood cats who were hit by cars. I loved those cats like my own, feeding them, taking them to the vet, and giving them all the cuddles. Losing them was devastating, and I refuse to let the same fate befall Tito.
Leash-Walking Adventures and Online Critics
I recently posted a video of Tito’s leash-walking escapades on my Facebook page, and wouldn’t you know it, someone commented that I should let my cats roam free. Sorry, but no can do! I’ve explained my reasons, and I’m sticking to them.
